Which way do we go......?

So, the countdown is on!

Any day now we will be hittin' the road with no idea where we are going to end up!  This "predicament" is enough to cause most people some serious anxiety, however, we are pretty stoked!  The way we see it is,,, there are always going to be Airbnb’s, Hotels, Campgrounds, Friends to hang our hats and plenty of gas to get us there.

Our first stop in S.C. is going to be Greer.  Located smack dab in the middle of Spartanburg and Greenville.  Heard a lot about this growing little town and are very excited to check it out.  2nd on our list is Easley, just west of Greenville and then onto Aiken which is southeast of Greenville to finish up our "Upstate Tour."

We are then headed over to the Northeastern part of Columbia to basically pass thru and see an old friend.  No interest in this area at this point ~ BUT you just never know!  Our next exploration will be taking place in Little River.  A cute little place just north of Myrtle Beach.  This is my most anticipated stop!  When I lived in Myrtle many moons ago, I loved LR and always thought what a wonderful place to live it might be. So, we shall see...  Tony is very intrigued by Moncks Corner ~ just Northwest of Charleston.  So that will be our last hoorah before heading out... or will it?

Florida or BUST!  Because we spent time exploring 25 towns in Mid/Central/Northern Florida last year, we were able to narrow it down to 3 places... however, along that "research trip" we continually met people who insisted that we check out THIS place and THAT place, however, we just couldn't fit them all in.  So, our plan this time around is to head to Leesburg.  Centrally located Northwest of Orlando and VERY close to Mt. Dora which, incidentally, made our top 3 list from last year.  All of the other areas that we plan to explore can be easily accessed from "The Burg" so we most likely will just stay put here for a while.

After spending some quality time learning about:  "The Burg," Crystal River, Inverness and this area in general we MIGHT head over to the East Coast JUST so we can say we "got a feel" for it.  Again, you just NEVER know what you may discover unless you GO!

So, this my fellow Roadbums, is our plan.  Our Big Adventure.  Along the way I plan to keep a journal for future RoadBlogs, as well as, post on Instagram and FB.  So, I do invite you to follow us and once we have "planted roots" I hope a lot of you will reach out if you're ever in our new town!

And always remember:

"All those who wander are not lost."

"We must take adventures to know where we really belong."

"Don't listen to what "THEY" say.  GO SEE PERIOD...!"
