T'was the month of December…
A “revised version” of the 12/5/2021 RoadBlog. What a difference determination and 2 years can make...
T’was the month of December and I’ve seen no snow,
Only on TV and WAY up North… HO, HO, HO!
No more flannels or 3rd blanket on the bed,
Visions of palm trees and beach no longer dance in my head,
Because now they are just a short drive away,
We could be there in a flash on any given day!
Good things take time & everything happens for a reason,
We finally find ourselves NOT trudging through another season!
Peace of mind is finally here as we relax in our new zip code,
Driving our little red golf cart up and down the road.
All I wanted for Christmas has now come to fruition,
As I’ve fulfilled yet another Roadbum ambition!
So, another Winter is upon us, bring on the flip flops & sun,
A new RDBM adventure has now begun.
As we spend our 1st Christmas in a Community that’s SO cool,
One present we plan to open this year is the gate to the pool!
We will exclaim as we cheer at the sight,
Merry Christmas to all and to all many good nights!
