Roadbum Skies

What a summer!  It has been spectacular in NW Pennsylvania.

While Toots and The Marine took several roadtrips this year we were not able to take them all.  That thing called LIFE always seems to get in the way.  Don’t get me wrong ~ I am grateful that our feet hit the floor and we were able to enjoy ANY roadtrip.  We happened upon some new places and met more awesome peeps and THAT’s what it’s all about!  We were also able to work very hard and get a number of projects eliminated from our list.  This in turn means we are getting closer to the next stage of our Roadbum dream.  Good stuff!

Every year at this time I find myself feeling a lil’ melancholy because of the inevitable.  Days get shorter.  Nights get cooler.  Somewhat bittersweet, as I love Autumn but fight what’s around the corner with every fiber of my being!  The dreaded “W” word.  So, as Labor Day approaches and Fall creeps in I am going to reflect on the many beautiful things I have seen over the past few months.  One in particular… the sky above.  The countless sunsets, sunrises and everything else in between.  Storms, airplane contrails, birds… hell, even caught some hot air balloons this summer.

It brought me to create Roadbum Skies.  No doubt I will be adding many more beautiful shots of the leaves changing color, birds migrating South with me wishing I was their wingman... even a pumpkin patch with a gorgeous backdrop (OR a pumpkin beer?).  No doubt there will be awesome snow scenes to come, however, I just don’t want to be shivering while my lips turn blue to enjoy them ~ that’s all I’m saying…  Ugh!

So, with that being said, I invite you to take a look at Roadbum Skies.  I would also invite and encourage sending your own shots and with your permission would be pleased to add them to our album for all Roadbums to enjoy!

While you're at it would you consider liking RoadbumGear on FB and following us on Instagram? We sure would appreciate it and could use the exposure!

And remember... "Get in, put her in drive, plan some spontaneity and let the magic begin!"
