Rear View Mirror
Since I have been snowed in these past 2 days I figured it’s the perfect opportunity to elaborate a little on Roadbum’s purpose. My aspiration. My aim. For as long as I can remember I’ve wanted to be an entrepreneur. I have had countless ideas over the course of my life but it just never seemed to be “the right time.” When is that by the way? I finally realized that I did not want my answer to be ~ “too late.”
Tone & I have a deep desire to live life on the road for a while. At least long enough to see what we want to see and find that perfect place that has our name on it! No surprise RVing is a subject that is of great interest to us. This lifestyle has become quite the rage thus creating a broad canvas for someone like me. 1st, I (we) love to travel. Especially by vehicle because you’re in complete control of where and how long you visit and mingle. I love to write. Whether I’m good at it or not ~ I can get lost sometimes for hours doing it. I love taking pictures and am glaringly aware that it is the fashionable thing to do these days. Fuse all these things together and add a lil’ boutique store for Roadbums? I think I will!
So, when life took me (us) down an unfamiliar & twisted, duplicitous road I decided to transform what was a bitter trial into a blessing in disguise. The fear of “flopping” fades every day. What’s the absolute worst thing that could happen? I will only view it as a failure if I don’t try. I’ve come to accept this lil’ venture of mine may not turn out the way I thought it would but Tone and my RoadBlog will always be in the front seat with me.
There’s a reason the windshield is so much bigger than the rear view mirror…
My focus for Roadbumgear is to offer simple clothing and accessories that showcase our logo. Provide a website that is welcoming and comfortable. I want to share our stories and photographs of the people and places that make an impression on us so that they can make that same impression on you. Our market may be geared towards the RVing niche, however, we’re all inclusive. I believe every individual has a “nomadic flicker” inside them. Whether it’s an everyday lifestyle or a day/weekend road trip you can still be branded a RDBM!
I do hope you take the opportunity to peruse, read a little and return every once in a while, to see what’s new.
