Southern Fall

And just like that, it's Fall again folks!  Wow... THAT went FAST!!!

In my opinion the most multifaceted season.  For it brings forth various feelings and emotions for most people.  It used to be bittersweet for me because as much as I enjoyed it, I would always dread what was right around the corner.  You see I have a serious aversion to being cold…. Oh, wait… HA!  That’s right, I don’t have to worry about that anymore!  Give me a moment while I let the overwhelming feelings of joy rush over me… Ok, I still (and I believe, always will) love the kaleidoscope of colors that Autumn begets.  I love all of the events and festivals that are only “jeans, boots and sweater weather worthy.”  Octoberfest’s for instance!  Do I have to mention pumpkin EVERYTHING!  Campfires, for some reason, are much more enjoyable this time of year.  Most bugs hit the road.  And last, but certainly not least, my birthday "falls" in October and anyone who knows me can attest that I love celebrating ~ not just my own ~ but ANYone’s birthday!  Hey, the way I see it, if you're having a birthday, you should be celebrating the mere fact that you're celebrating!  It's better than the alternative, right?  Just sayin…

However, THIS Fall is going to be a little different as these Roadbums are now Floridians... hence a "Southern Fall" is upon us.  I don't believe the bugs hit the road down here but I have to say we haven't seen many?  So THAT'S encouraging!

This beautiful season can still be enjoyed and appreciated in the South so get out there and enjoy the next few weeks!  Below you will find a few links to encourage a Roadtrip or two.  And as always, “Get in, put her in drive, plan some spontaneity and let the magic begin Roadbums!”
